Overuse and unguided use of social media can cause increased worry, depression, and feelings of inadequacy, among other negative consequences. It is critical to teach learners about responsible usage and promote a healthy balance of online and offline activities.
Balance and Well-Being: Emphasize the significance of striking a balance between online and offline pursuits, as well as encouraging mental wellness by minimizing screen time and fostering in-person connections.
Modeling Positive Behavior: Set a good example for others by acting kindly, being genuine, and sharing content responsibly on social media.
Monitoring and Communication: Promote candid conversations about students' internet experiences with responsible adults, and offer advice on how to deal with difficult circumstances.
